or Norrkoping accommodation? This eastern city is located in the Ostergotland county of Sweden right by the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately no a lot of the old medieval town is left here today as fires have destroyed it and it had to be partially rebuilt quite a few times.
There is still and olden day charm about the city and it is best enjoyed on foot as everything is within walking distance. Another nice way to get around is using the tram system similar to that in San Francisco.
Stroll through the city streets and visit the many shops, café’s and restaurants and experience the local people’s hospitality. Take the family to the People’s Park and Himmelstalund Park where there is a spa, a theater and 3000-year old rock carvings. The Karl Johan Park is also quite spectacular and has a lovely botanical display. Appreciate the Renaissance architecture of the City Tower and take a look out from the observation deck.
Make a turn at Lovstad Castle or head south to the German Market. Kolmard Forest is a very wooded area, nice for sightseeing as well as for visiting the local zoo. For the kids there is the Busfabriken that is an indoor jungle themed play park and the adults can play golf, go kayaking or dad can try his luck with fishing.
