It is a small town, but it is fairly easy to reach, thanks to regular trains from Geneva, Lausanne, St. Galen, Zurich, and Basel. The town is home to some impressive Roman Ruins, as well as to the headquarters of UEFA, and it is also the site of Europe’s largest music festival, Paleo, which happens every July. Then there is the Visions du Reel international film festival to enjoy in April. Then again, being located on the shores of the very beautiful Lake Geneva, and the amazing Swiss countryside, the scenery alone is an attraction in its own right.
