or Padstow accommodation? The town of Padstow is on the Cornish Coast of England, and is a small seaside town, probably best known as being the home of television chef, Rick Stein. It has modernized rapidly over the years. To the degree that it is now jokingly referred to by locals as the ‘Cornish London.’ To reach Padstow, you can fly to the nearby Newquay International Airport, or take a train, but once there, all of the sights are within easy walking distance. An interesting place to visit in the town of Padstow is the National Lobster Hatchery. Here, lobsters are hatched, reared, and then returned to the ocean, as a means of counteracting the danger of over fishing. There are, of course, also several beaches, all of which are popular with visitors, and there are a few other historic sites, like the Prideaux Place house, which is one of the oldest houses in the town. Then you can sample Rick Stein’s fish and chips at the South Quay, and enjoy a drink at any of the traditional pubs, such as the Old Custom House Hotel and the Shipwrights Inn, among others. - Browse the Padstow Map or compare Padstow accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
