Paestum, being a major archaeological site, hosts many museum and other exhibitions right through the year. The Premio Charlot is a major event in the city attracting many persons. In August, the prose, music and dance summer festival is held at the temple area and is a very exiting event. On summer evenings, the Archaeological Museum has lively exhibits. Paestum Art runs right through the summer season with the Masters of Light for the entire month of July.
