Pamplona, a beautiful green city, is situated in Navarra, Spain, and is famous for the annual San Fermin festival, also known as “The Running of the Bulls.” The city is accessible by plane, train, car, and bus. The best and most fun way to get around the city is on foot. There is always live music, dancing, and lots of friendly people.
Some of the things to see and do in the city are watching the student bullfighters train, the “running of the nudes,” to protest against bullfighting, and. of course, Sanfermines, the City Festival of Pamplona, the main feature being the running of the bulls.
When you go shopping, do note that you can also buy good wine, Patxaran, ham, tins of peppers, the best being from Lodosa, and sparragus from Navarra. You might also want to have a look in at the Shop of Shirts, situated at the beginning of Estafeta Street.
There are plenty of restaurants in the old city, ranging from budget through to high-end. One of them is San Nicolas Bar, and another is Bar La Bodeguica, situated in the old town, near the central market. The restaurant is quite small and cosy, with good food.

High-end accommodation includes NH El Toro, and Oasis Pamplona. If you are that way inclined, you can join the many people who sleep in the open in the parks for free.
