or Pamukkale accommodation? The town of Pamukkale is in Turkey, in the Aegean region. It is an area of amazing natural beauty, most notably the travertine springs, which are very hot, and with a very high mineral content. They have also been a tourist attraction for the area since around the second century BC. To reach Pamukkale flying to Denizli – Cardak Airport or, alternatively, you could take a bus into the city. Once in Pamukkale, all of the attractions are easily reached on foot, within around fifteen minutes, although there are also dolmus or mini bus taxis from the station. Of course, the springs and waterfalls are a major attraction in Pamukkale, but there are several other things to see and do. The Roman Theater at Hieropolis, which is huge, and built to seat twelve thousand people, is one of these. The Kahlik Caves, about thirty minutes from the city, are another attraction, and then there is Karahyit, which is known as the red spring, and is around five minutes from the town.
