Apart from the lovely scenery in the area, you can also take walks, or cycle along the sea wall.
As far as shopping goes, there is a very good market held every Wednesday in the Main square and stretching out into the side streets. During the summer months, you will find plenty of gifts and souvenirs, and the winter months, mainly fresh food, clothing, and textiles.
