You can get into Portrush by train, bus or car and walking is the best way to get around, or you can use the bus if you wish. There are quite a few things to do in Portrush, some of them being, a walk along the beach, even in stormy weather. Enjoy a round of golf at the Royal Portrush Golf Club, one of the best ones in the world. Highly recommended is a day trip to Rathlin Island and Ballycastle. There are some very nice places to eat in Portrush. Ramore Wine Bar, Coast Pizza and the Harbor Bar are worth a try, but you might have to wait a while, as they are very popular. Uncle Saam’s is a very simple restaurant, but they serve very good food as well. The Quays is the place to go to enjoy a pint or two. Anvershiel House B&B is fantastic and provides a delicious breakfast.
