The Kachni river falls also call Dassam Gagh is situated in Taimara and it is 144 feet high. The Jonha Falls also called the Gautam is situated 40 km from Ranchi. Two Buddha temples are located near the falls; they were built by King Baldev Roy and can also be visited.
Visitors will enjoy attractions at the Nakshatra Van; Aqua World (Machhli Ghar); Birsa Zoological Park; Night Safari; Crocodile Farm. The Nakshatra Van is a park located in the heart of the city, near the Governor’s House, the Raji Bhawan.
