or Rodermark accommodation? Rödermark is a town in the Offenbach district in the Regierungsbezirk of Darmstadt in Hesse, Germany, southeast of Frankfurt am Main and northeast of Darmstadt. Rödermark was founded on 1 January 1977. The name goes back to the late mediaeval communal forest (marca raodora) known as the Rödermark. A pottery museum and a pottery market can be found in Rodermark for those who love pottery. The Celtic have also been unearthing archaeological digs in the town. In Rodermark, you will find the oldest German pub called "Bockshaut" which makes it a gem in this town. Bockshaut was founded as a tannery in 1795, and was transformed into a wine tavern and restaurant. The following festivals takes place in the city and offer a chance to pursue social contacts such as, The Hessentag State festival, Fest ohne Grenzen (“Festival Without Borders”), Fest der Biere (“Festival of Beers”), Weinfest, Trinkbornfest, and The Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market).
