or Rosemead accommodation? Rosemead is a city in Los Angeles County that used to be fought over for settlement by two Native American Tribes, the Haznu and the Tonga tribes. When whites began to settle in the area, the Mexican-American War and the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe happened, a movement that led to the establishment of schools, ranches, rabbit and chicken farms that eventually formed the city.
Rosemead is home to a number of interesting places to see. The Marinelli Stadium is located in Rosemead High School and was named after Rod Marinelli, former head coach of the Detroit Lions. For retail therapy, there is the Rosemead Square shopping Center, located in a mall near South El Monte and the El Monte City limits. Whittier Narrows Golf Course is the place to go to for a round of golf in the area. The city also has a collection of restaurants and grills, among them the Bahooka Ribs and Grog and Chameli, which serves fantastic Indian food.
