This little town is located at the beginning of the world famous Fugglstaden-Heidbodme skiing route, as well as the greater Saasquital ski region. Some of these slopes are available directly, by ski lift, while others do require a bit more travelling by postal boat. What does make the area quite unique is that if offers downhill ski and snowboarding slopes, as well as more challenging uphill slopes and cross-country trails.
