or Secaucus accommodation? Secaucus is a small town located in Hudson County, New Jersey. The city is originally a borough until June 7, 1900 when the place was formally incorporated as a town.
Historically, Secaucus was an agricultural place. It actively produced plants, vegetables, cattle and at the same time considered a junk yard to the whole state. It became too unpopular to the New York metropolitan area because of the foul smell it produced, both from animal droppings and garbage. Even debris from the Pennsylvania Station demolition was dumped in the Secaucus Meadowlands.
The place was improved until it became a commuter town. Today, having 20% of Secaucus residents working in New York City, the town have become one of the well-known suburban towns in Hudson County. In fact, New Jersey Monthly magazine described Secaucus as one of the 11th “Best Places to Live” in New Jersey.
