or Seekonk accommodation? Seekonk is a town in the Bristol County of the state of Massachusetts. It is 4 miles away east of Providence, Rhode Island and 40 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts. The town is also part of the Providence-Fall River-Warwick metropolitan statistical area. Native American Indians were the first settlers of the area, belonging to the Wampanoag Tribe and also known as the people of the Morning Light.
Seekonk is basically a residential community. It has three golf courses–Firefly Country Club, Pawtucket Country Club, and Seekonk Ledgemont Country Club–which provide golfers sports entertainment and wonderful landscapes at the same time. The town is also home to the Seekonk Speedway, which is a ‘fast track’ destination for auto racing clubs. A retail area along Route 6, on the other hand, offers plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining pursuits as well.
More historically and culturally-related sites in Seekonk include the Slater Memorial Park, Seekonk Public Library, and Seekonk Town Hall. The town also has numerous natural attractions including the Burrs Pond, Old Grist Mill Pond, and the Ten Mile River Reservoir. For modern games, families must head at the Fantasyland Family Entertainment Center and its Seekonk Grand Prix, where children will surely have fun.
