The Dwarakamayi building near the temple houses the Dhuni- a fire which the saint used to burn. The Dixit Wada Museum in Shirdi should not be missed, as it has a collection of photographs with Sai Baba. Other important pilgrim attractions include the village of Shani Shingnapur with its temple dedicated to the planet of Saturn and Gurusthan which is connected to the saint. The Lendi Baug and the Khandoba Mandir Temple should also be visited. The Jangli Maharaj Ashram and the Upasani Maharaj Ashra are also important religious sites. The Abdul Baba Cottage and the House of Laxmibai Shinde form a major part of Shirdi’s historical heritage.

Ramnavami is one of the most popular festive events in Shirdi, held each year in March or April. Thousands of Muslims and Hindus participate in the event. The Gurupurnima festivities are very exciting as they are held in favor of Shirdi Sai Baba. The Vyasa Puja, dedicated to Ved Vyasa who was author of the great epic Mahabharata and the massive Shirdi Vijayadashmi celebrations are also held in Shirdi yearly. The Brahman Bhojan is another enjoyable festival.
