or Skegness accommodation? The civil parish of Skegness is an important and popular seaside destination in Lincolnshire, England. It is home to the very first Butlins Resort, and although it has a population of less than twenty thousand people, it is still one of the most popular English seaside destinations. Skegness was originally a Danish settlement, which is where the name is derived from. However, these days, the beach is one of the biggest attractions. There are a range of hotels, resorts, bars, clubs, and restaurants that line the beach, however, the traditional English seaside pier and amusement parks, as well as a few other local landmarks, were recently destroyed by fire. There is an Esplanade along the beach, which features statues, a boating lake, and other attractions. Then there is the clock tower, which is a local landmark, at the end of Lumley Road, and while you will not find any major hotel chains in the area, there are several local establishments that should appeal to a range of tastes. - Browse the Skegness Map or compare Skegness accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
