Besides it being stunning to look at, St. Moritz has a lot to offer. Skiing is of course the first thing that comes to mind. There are 250 miles of downhill slopes and these are not for beginners. Besides skiing there is snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, sleigh rides, white water rafting, sailing, windsurfing and mountain climbing. Take a scenic ride on The Glacier Express while it snakes through mountains for 7 hours while you can eat, drink and marvel at the things you see. For a rejuvenating spa treatment, St. Moritz Bad is a must. In addition, if your money is burning a hole in your pocket, head to Via Maistra, an entire street dedicated to shopping. Feeling a bit cultural? Make your way to the Engadine Museum filled with antiques or the Segantini Museum filled with art works. Of course, one must eat and here you will find such a variety at reasonable prices, not that the really expensive ones do not exist! A nice budget restaurant is La Marmite as well as Landgasthof Meierei. At night feel free to join in the fun at any of the bars, clubs and pubs like The Cresta Bar or Kings Club if you want that up market feeling.
St. Morris has a few annual events happening such as the Opera Festival in July or the British Classic Car Meeting. In August to September there is a ten-day golf and Symphony Festival. Check out the local events calendar for more events.
