United Kingdom)
or Stevenage accommodation? Stevenage is a fairly large town, with over eighty thousand residents, in the Herefordshire area of England. It is a designated new town, however, it has its roots in the 11th century, and there are a wide range of historic sites in the area that are of interest to the visitor. There is the remain of a Roman road nearby, and the Six Hills, which are assumed to be the graves of a local family are another indicator of a Roman settlement in the area. Over two thousand silver coins that date to Roman times were also discovered in the area. Stevenage has a pedestrianised town centre, which is home to a range of shops, restaurants and other facilities. There are also a variety of historic pubs in the town. Then there is the Old Town, and a variety of other interesting places to visit and sights to see. The market and the annual fair in Stevenage have been held since the charter for the town was granted in the latter part of the 13th century, and if you can be in town for the fair it is well worth while. - Browse the Stevenage Map or compare Stevenage accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
