Taizhou is located in the coastal central section of Zhejiang and was once known as Haiyang and or Haining which meant Nation in Peace and People in Security. The city is situated on the north bank of Yangtze River, bordering Nantong to the east, Yancheng to the north, and Yangzhou to the west.
They are many stone letterings and ancient architectures in the city. There are about One Hundred and thirty-four old attractions that are below the city-level and the state-level protection. In the city, there are tens of thousands of cultural relics and museums. The temple of Xiaoguanglv is a thousand years old and is well-known in the Buddhism community.
Another beautiful ttractions are the Great Wall of South China, Taishan Park, Temple of Guang Xiaolu, and Rishe Park. Taizhou is also a good place for tourists with many scenic spots that combine both natural beauty and historical puff.
Two other great places for you to see are the Mei, Lanfang memorial and the Plum Pavillion which is half the length of Mei Lanfang staue. The Qintong Boat Racing Festival is a traditional festival that I held in the city which mean “The Festival of Pure Brightness”.
