It is quite near to Krabi, which means that travelling to the town from Bangkok or elsewhere is easy, and it is also near the Khao Sok National Park, which makes it popular for eco tourists.

Alternatively, you could head out of the town itself, and visit waterfalls like the Lamru Waterfall, and the very beautiful Ton Chong Fa waterfall.
