A walk along the Dingle Way and the North Kerry Way is highly recommended as these present the best of Tralee’s countryside. Outside Tralee at Fenit, you can cruise the west coast of Ireland on the 100-berth marina facility available. Fenit, Banna and Ballyheigue Blue Flag beaches near to Tralee offer great sea and sun bathing opportunities. For entertainment, there is a modern four screen multiplex cinema in town. Exciting racing events can be viewed weekly at The Kingdom Greyhound stadium. Tralee also has an Indoor Kiddies Adventure Centre, and an Equestrian Centre. The Rose of Tralee Festival is one of the most popular events in the town held at the end of August yearly and features competitions among Irish communities. There is also an annual one week festival courtesy of the arts centre and the Annual Pan Celtic Festival which celebrates the origin of the Celtic language and culture among the seven Celtic nations.
