or Tulcea accommodation? The city of Tulcea lies in Dobrogea, in Romania, and is the administrative seat of a county by the same name. There are around ninety thousand people in the city, making it a fairly large one, by Romanian standards. Tulcea started out in the 7th century BC, and was originally a Greek city named Aegyssus. Over the years, it changed hands numerous times, eventually becoming a part of Romania. The town still centers around a small seaport, although there are also several historic sites to visit in and around the city. There is also an annual high school music competition, known as the George Georgescu Concursal, which draws visitors from around the globe.
