or Verbier accommodation? The town of Verbier is a small, resort town in the Valais area of Switzerland. As one would expect from a Swiss resort town, skiing is the focus in the town, and there are several cable cars that will take visitors to a variety of ski slopes nearby. To reach Verbier, you will need to fly to Geneva, and hire a car to drive the one hundred and sixty kilometers to town. Alternatively, you can take the train to Martigny, and then switch trains to the one that runs to the Verbier base station, known as Le Chable. There is a free bus service that runs through the town of Verbier, but for the most part, walking will take you everywhere you need to go. Luckily, for those who do not ski yet, or are a little rusty, there are ski schools in this town, such as the Performance Verbier Ski Center, and the European Snowsport Verbier Ski School.
