Russia)
or Vladivostok accommodation? The city of Vladivostok, in Russia, is the eastern most terminus of the Trans Siberian Railway, and an important naval area in the country. In fact, Golden Horn Bay is the home of the Russian Pacific Fleet, and was once off limits entirely to foreigners. Being in Siberia, winter is very, very cold, and not a good time to visit the country. Summers, however, see average temperatures in the region of twenty-four degrees Celsius, and much more tourist friendly! To reach this city, you can take the famous Trans Siberian Railway, or you could choose to take a boat or ferry. Vladivostok Airport is another option, and receives daily flights from both local and international centers. The Arsenev Regional History Museum is one of the most popular attractions within the city, or you could spend some time wandering around, looking at a variety of statues, including the one of Lenin near the post office. The C-56 Submarine, and a variety of other naval and maritime museums and attractions, also makes for fascinating destinations. For shopaholics, you could head to a mall, but the Sportivnaya Market, which is Vladivostok’s largest market, is a warren of interesting finds, no matter what you are looking for. When it comes to hotels, you will not find any big name chain hotels, but local options like the Hotel Vladivostok and the Vlad Inn, among others, offer a range of comfortable options. - Browse the Vladivostok Map or compare Vladivostok accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
