Searching for hotels in Xaghra (Malta) or Xaghra accommodation?  Like most Maltese tourist attractions, Ix Xaghra on the coast of Gozo is small – although with four thousand two hundred or so residents, it’s the second largest village on the island. It’s also the home of some of the world’s most amazing ruins though, and a magnet for tourists interested in history. These include the famous Xaghra Megaliths, and underground features like Xerri’s Grotto and Ninu’s Cave, which both boast awesome displays of stalagmites and stalactites. Il Mithna is another popular attraction, formerly a windmill; the building is now a museum. Every year, the small town celebrates its annual feast in honor of Our Lady of Victories, on the 8th of September, and this is definitely a good time to visit the town if you like these kinds of cultural and historic events.
